Don’t tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass.
I’m ready to share my other awesome experience with again my travel partner(my wife) to McLeod-Ganj at the end of the June month for 5 days awesome journey. Where we covered all the local sites and Dharamshala city as well.
I am also not feeling any hesitation to share this on the public that I was on my honeymoon holidays to that trip.
Well, Because this was my first journey with my wife (actually with any female mate). So I did take care of the full luxury. I went to McLeod-Ganj from Delhi with a flight. However, you can go by bus and probably they are 2 or 3 times cheaper with the airfare. The flight fare was charged almost INR 8000.00 with a return to me for two people. It did take almost an hour from Delhi Airport to Gaggal Airport, Himachal Pradesh.
I was ready with my hotel which was Hotel Ravine at near to Bhagsunath Temple and a general open market nearby. Importantly, this hotel charged INR. 4000.00 for two days from us.
As I have already mentioned that time was the end of June and you can guess the hot weather in Delhi/NCR. When we reached the hotel, just believe me the weather and temperature was too awesome. Might be you can never feel that moment in Delhi ever.
By the way, all the places in Himachal are must-visit and each place gives us a different feel every time. But I think McLeod-Ganj is the best package and combination for each age group people and the people of different lifestyles.
You can imagine the diversity of this place that you can found temples, churches, gurudwaras, monasteries in this small place.
For the foodie people, McLeod-Ganj is nothing less than another food paradise. I have seen almost every Indian state food available here. Typical North-Indian Food, South-Indian, Chinese, and much more delicious foods.
I think most of the people got excited when I will mention about the alcohol availability there. Yes, there are bars and restaurants and even wine shops where you can buy liquor at very affordable rates.
Well you should avoid in the season of heavy rain fall. Otherwise, every season is good to go.
It is totally my personnel opinion that 2 days are enough to explore the McLeod-Ganj and if you wanna also visit Dharmshala then you can add 1-2 days more in your trip calendar.
Well, these are places you can visit in McLeod-Ganj and Dharamshala.
Well, this is all from my experience. I’ll really love if you will make a plan of McLeod-Ganj after reading this blog.
If you are a person who don’t care about to cleanliness of this natural places. If you just throw the garbage anywhere. We are really sorry. You should never go to McLeod-Ganj.
Otherwise, you are good to go.
